La Colombe. La Colombe. La Colombe.

If you’re looking for some of the best coffee you may drink in your entire life, this is the place. I know it’s a bold statement, but it’s a true one. I have loved this place for years and that feeling hasn’t diminished over time. This is the coffee standard I hold all other coffee places to.

The first time I went to La Colombe years ago, I did my normal coffee shop test. If I can drink the coffee black with no added sugar or cream, then it’s a good cup of coffee. When I had my first sip, it was the smoothest cup I’d ever had. I didn’t even miss the sugar or cream!

Nowadays I’ve been around the block with this place, so I settled on an iced mocha. They don’t make flavored coffees, but they do melt down high quality chocolate for the mocha, so I suppose it’s the exception.

It was an unseasonably warm day so I grabbed the iced mocha to go (along with bags and bags of coffee to smuggle to Florida), and hit up the local park.

Sipping on this cup of perfection in the cutest park on a sunny day was bliss. I highly recommend it!

La Colombe has expanded to other cities now and I’ve tried it in other places, it’s still just as good. So if you find your self lucky enough to be in close proximity to one, give it a chance, it may change your caffeinated life!

Hoping everyone has had a wonderful 2015 and that 2016 brings you more bliss, adventure, and food!
