Houston Edition: Rudy’s Country Store and Bar-BQ

Location: Multiple locations

How could I possibly go to Texas and not indulge in BBQ at least once!? After heading back to Houston before the flight home, BBQ was on the agenda. Lucky for me Rudy’s is a local chain of BBQ restaurants that my friend decided to bring us to.

Location: 324 Broadway Kissimmee, FL 34741

I walked in and the smell of smoked meat overpowered me, it was wonderful. After talking to the friendly staff for a few minutes, I decided on a sampler platter so I could try everything! Late Sunday night, a small group of my friends and I made our way to Oh! My. They kept sounding so concerned about it only being open for another three hours, and after starting our meal I understood why.

There’s so much to talk about here, but I’ll try to break it down a little for those that haven’t had BBQ like this before. Essentially the meal consisted of grilled meat and vegetables eaten with various dipping sauces or side dishes. Below is a list of all the items included with our lengthy meal. Continue reading “Oh!
