Caffe Positano

Location: 1665 WP Ball Blvd Sanford, FL 32771

Pizza is a staple in my life. I’m pretty sure it is in a lot of people’s lives. I mean it’s crust, sauce, cheese, toppings. It’s got all your food pyramid basics covered in one easy to eat meal.

I’ve had a lot of pizza in my time. Some good, some not so great, some downright awful. I actually cringe thinking about pizza I’ve had with depressing toppings, stingy amounts of cheese, and cardboard crust. Caffe Positano had none of that! This is definitely one of the best pizza experiences I’ve had! Continue reading “Caffe Positano”

BurgerFi

A while back a friend and I were craving good old American comfort food. What does that translate to for us? Burgers and fries, baby! So we set out to eat at BurgerFi, which is a chain (not a huge fan of chains), but good nonetheless. I’d never actually gotten food from there so I was eager to try a few things. We talked to the person at the register and after some deliberation settled on a New York Style Hot Dog, A Double Bacon Cheeseburger (heart attack waiting to happen!) and “Urban” Fries from their “secret” menu. Oh! My SamGyupSal Korean BBQ

To continue my mini-series on my Atlanta food adventures I had the opportunity to eat some yummy Korean BBQ, which is one of my favorite things ever! Late Sunday night, a small group of my friends and I made our way to Oh! My. They kept sounding so concerned about it only being open for another three hours, and after starting our meal I understood why.

There’s so much to talk about here, but I’ll try to break it down a little for those that haven’t had BBQ like this before. Essentially the meal consisted of grilled meat and vegetables eaten with various dipping sauces or side dishes. Below is a list of all the items included with our lengthy meal. Continue reading “Oh! Korean Food Adventure

Not only do I love to eat, but I love cooking too. When I was young, my dad would cook dinner and I would be his assistant, allowed to do small tasks like cutting veggies or stirring something simmering on the stove.

Now, I find cooking cathartic. If I’ve had a stressful week it’s nice to come home and just cook it out. It’s also an adventure in and of itself. Last week I decided to take a risk and work with a cuisine I love but am not too familiar with cooking…Korean food. It was a pretty ambitious effort, but I was ready to take on the task.
