Philippines Edition: Ohana Art Cafe

Location: San Miguel, San Antonio, Zambales, Philippines

Another day, another adventure. This adventure took us to a tiny fishing village by the coast where we had a day of wonderful serendipity and just quiet, wonderful paradise. My family and I took a drive, with a local recommending this small town to get away from tourists in the Subic Bay area. We ended up in San Antonio/Pundaquit and I’m not going to lie, I was a bit apprehensive. I suppose the cautious person in me doubted how a small fishing town could live up to my beach paradise expectations.

Philippines Edition: SM Clarke – Mall Food Court

Location: SM Clarke Food Court

Ok, so hear me out everyone! I know what you’re thinking, what the heck am I doing recommending food court food?! But let me tell you, mall food in the United States pales in comparison to mall food in the Philippines. Like pretty much everything I had experienced on my trip, care and attention was put into my meal and I was able to eat traditional Filipino food in a modern setting.

Philippines Edition: Jollibee

Location: Worldwide with some U.S. locations

Sooooooo, it’s been a long while. A new job has had me crazy busy and to be honest with you, I’ve been in a bit of a rut. But fear not, I’m back!

I will have TONS of things to update on, but last year I got to go back to my homeland (well my mother’s), the Philippines and you better believe I had ALL of the food adventures.
